My Lovely Pink Halter
My mom and my sister-in-law looked and looked for matching pink halters for me and my best friend, Black Eyed Susan (Sue). Oh, they were so proud of us when we wore our new spring outfits.
And then I ate mine.
My name is Minute. Some people say I'm a West Highland terrier. Some people say I'm a dog. I say I'm a princess, and this is my world.

This is Margot's sister, Guinness. She has the coolest toys ever. Whenever I go to visit them, I take the toys from the toy box and spread them all over the house. Margot and Guinness are happy to share, and we never have to put them up!
Because we're princesses. We have staff.

Today is some kind of holiday, but I don't think it's as fun as Christmas. This was me last Christmas when I supervised tree decorating. One of my jobs was guarding the replacement lightbulbs.

This is my big brother Sparky. He's a Silky and is seven years old. My mom calls him a "rescue." I don't know what that means. Sometimes he plays with me. Sometimes he wishes I'd simmer down. Sparky has diabetes. It made him blind, and he has to get two shots a day, but he doesn't mind. I think he's a brave dog.

They tell me I'm very petite because I weigh nine pounds. My best friend is my niece, Sue. She is not "petite." An American bulldog, she weighs about 85 pounds. But I can still take her in a fight. She has a little scar on her right shoulder from me. I'm fierce!

My mom likes to watch "Lost" and "Survivor," but I like movies. My favorite movie is "All Dogs Go to Heaven." Sometimes movies make me cry, so I leave a box of tissues nearby.
So I can eat them.
